Ever since I started making any sort of content I wanted to make gaming content too. Although my initial plans were to stream pokemon or skyrim, the game I ironically got myself to stream or create for first was State of Decay 2.

I bought the first game right away, and loved it. Played countless campaigns, the DLC, and did my best to break the game. When the 2nd game came out I actually didn't like it at first, changed too much from the first, but then I gave it another shot. Got obsessed ever since. I even created a guide to surviving the zombie apocalypse: How to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse.

My first season was a bit more edited, as I was able to hire an editor for it for a time. However the second season I just put out there, as it was interesting, and I would have procrastinated too long if I waited to edit. Meaning there may be some visual changes between the seasons.

I've not stop playing the game, and recently had some interesting campaigns. I do wish I had a better streaming setup to get myself to actually do that more. I tried to give a bit of story, especially with the first season. Hence the unique names, but I'll explain that in the next section.

SoD2 Season 1 - The Last Law Community

The first ep for season 1.

This was fun because my first leader I ever had was a sheriff.

I wanted to do my first, or at least one of my first, lethal playthroughs with her. Most of my way of playing has changed a lot since then, but it is fun to go back and see.

The sheriff gave law to a lawless zombie town.

SoD2 Season 2 - The Warcry Community

The first ep for season 2, its more of a livestream.

The initial idea was to play as a warlord leader type, perhaps do a campaign with each type, but given that the leader missions don't happen very much. Mostly only at the start and finale of a campaign.

It sort of was pushed to the side, and I went for a more speed running approach. I've gotten good at just clearing through plague hearts like crazy. Some sacrifices might happen, but in the end I beat the map super quick.

Maybe what I need to do, if I do another run, is to do a speedrun series. Where I do the entire map in one shot. Each ep is a whole map.
