Extending the functionality of an already very useful tool is something many people might not think about. At least until their problem use case comes to the forefront.
In some cases someone might want to create a website from a Notion database. Not their built in crappy sites, but a nicely designed blog.
A lot of people already know about Super.so, which is why I chose not to include it on this list. I wanted to focus on more obscure, yet useful tools that you probably haven't seen yet. Also Super sometimes can be really hit or miss.
Other use cases might be embedding a notion database, which for some reason is not a built in feature. Again, many ways of thinking in this category!
#5 - Apption
Various widgets, embeds, and other useful items to build into your notion dashboard.
From thinks like a Pomodoro timer, to a spotify music embed.
There are a lot of ways you could use this to enhance your notion experience, although I warn you not to go overboard!
#4 - NotionMetrics
Now this one is very interesting for a variety of business owners, or complex content creator ecosystems. Instead of having to go to various dashboards across tools. You can bring in the data straight into Notion, to then encompass that you need to know in one place.

#3 - Customblocks
This gives me WordPress Gutenberg vibes, and not so much in a good way. Over complicating the basic block structure, but perhaps in a similar way to the last tool on this list. You can organize your data charts on a unified dashboard in notion.
Perhaps by combining them together you get all of the sources you need.
#2 - Noshenreader
Anytime I see an RSS reader I get excited because most solutions nowadays suck. I found myself using Notion/Obsidian web clipper periodically, instead of using a reader because it just didn't help me using a separate tool.
Here is what this tool looks like:

Here is what my RSS dashboard looks like in Obsidian for context:

I'm not saying you should go to Obsidian, but this is pretty cool!
#1 - EmbedNotion
To be honest this is one of the tools that made me create this category in the first place. At one point I had the PolyTools database IN NOTION, and I might return it there after all the pricing crap with Airtable/NocoDB. However I want to embed it on the page linked at the bottom of this post.
Yet for some reason Notion does not have that feature built in, and EmbedNotion seems to do it in such a clean and minimal way. I don't even mind the branding for them to include too, and show some support for the tool.
Perhaps by the time this post comes out I'll have moved over back to Notion for the PolyTools database, and I'll be using this tool myself too.
Find the right tool for YOU:

This is a link to a page that has the database within, and you can sort by tag for notion tools if you need to look around!
