HOME SERVERS!

I'm easily down that home lab rabbit hole, and it has been a lot of fun. Even with issues here and there, and honestly I am cheating a little bit by using claude. However I want to make it as seamless as possible to learn this type of computing. I've been procrastinating on it for a reason, and so anything to make it easier to pick up. Speaking of which Zima OS became my OS of choice, just an overlay on linux technically, but it feels like a solid OS out of the box. I might look into Olares at some point too!

Other than that, and setting up all of my replacement services i.e. spotify/yt music to navidrome, I have been trying to get my hardware upgraded. Obviously without much income I am falling a bit short on liquid funds to spend on hardware. Thus I have gone to bartering like I have before, and while I have had some great trades. I have a couple lined up that I think will be really cool if they work out. Even if they don't I'll find something else later.

In this process it lets me simultaneously downsize my material possessions, while at the same time upgrading what I have. I've also gotten back into State of Decay 2, an addiction of mine of sorts, but the sequel is just around the corner!

I went back to a dark mode theme, technically the Fallout theme was dark mode, but it was very colorful. Sometimes distracting. I might bring it back for the fun of it at some point.

I'm hoping that I can pursue some sort of income stream here soon, and maybe if I get my hands on some new hardware it will improve my productivity having better processing/ram.
