Why I made the OmniBlog my ALL in ONE site for All of my Content

Come one come all to the OmniBlog, an omnimath's guide to the universe, but not really haha. That idea comes from the concept of an Omnimath, someone who knows ALL, and "Omni" meaning all. Thus the ALL topic blog, with no limitations put upon me and keeping me from creating something. Even if it isn't "in my niche", and that philosophy has lead to me creating some really unique posts.

I wanted to share a video and blog today with you of me simply going through all of my posts. This post is going to take a closer look at each tag I have thus far, and that I think will be fun too. Note, I am not sure what happened with my recording to have caused that "pulse" when I was doing

There really is something for everybody here, and there are some really unique posts that you just won't find anywhere else.

Going through each of the Tags

Over the years I just had so many topics I wanted to talk about, topics I planned on touching in the future, and some that were similar so I combined their tags.

While this list isn't in any particular order, I did put some of the more important ones at the top. I'll go through and explain the reasoning behind them as best I can! Hope one catches your eye!!

🧮 The Polymath Wiki

What I would consider to be one of my main niches, if not something that I'll go down for in history (hopefully).

I wanted to spark the curiosity of people, and encourage people to follow their polymathic traits. While giving them systems to organize their complex lives.

It is also a chance for me to highlight various other creators also talking about it.

🧠 PIOS Omni-Brain = Knowledge Management

Another one of my main topics. Knowledge management is actually how PolyInnovator even started. With the exploration on how to create a do it yourself degree. Eventually being known as the Modular Degree, and with that being the INPUT mechanism for the PIOS.

From there it evolved into being a system for polymaths, and for people needing a more robust framework than simple PARA/Secondbrain.

🔧 The Content Polymath - OmniChannel Content

The creator arm of PolyInnovator. What started out as a bit of a side project eventually became one of my main focus areas.

I loved the topic of creating content, and so over time I talked more and more about it. I realized that I enjoyed talking to people on the PolyCast too about their content journeys. Thus the PolyTools Creator Spotlight was also born.

That PolyTools moniker is how this started, where I created the "Polymath's Toolkit", which was a smooth way to bridge the brands. However over time it really became more of a limitation. It wasn't just tools that I would discuss.

While I still do talk about tools, I bring up how to be a creator, repurposing, and even hardware. It became more of my tech and teaching channel/newsletter.

📰 PolyInnovator News

Simply a way for me to bring out news about the brand. I don't just see it as a personal brand, even though that is what it is.

Over the course of the last decade I have come up with unique titles, series, brands, and many more things that needed information on.

This is the tag where I spread that informational news.

🏊 Mr. Dustin's Swim Academy

Something I've been teaching for over a decade, and it took me long enough to start making content about it.

This newsletter I tried to make into a sort of course, so its best if you start from the beginning.

🎓 Self-Education - Modular Degree (Alt to College)

Basically the tag that started it all for PolyInnovator. This was my call to arms to start making content again.

Spurring my interest into Knowledge Management itself, as well as pursuing my own path.

🌐 United Living Construct

Quite literally what started it all for me, way before PolyInnovator was a twinkle in my eye. I wanted to engage in global dynamics, and bridge world unity together.

This was the philosophical start for an organization set to unite polymaths around the world.

⚖️ Self-Development - Four Pillars Philosophy

One of my earliest topics, that still holds strong to this day, and something I should probably touch on again soon.

The Four Pillars, Mind/Body/Spirit/Emotions, are the four major areas of life. They are crucial to understand if you want to pursue self-development.

✒️ Fireside Codex

Simply a public journal, akin to the musings of Leonardo's notebooks, or at least I like to think so. If I have something that doesn't quite fit anywhere else, or is simply a process for me to write down my idea. Then it goes here.

🌌 Philosophy and FLOW

During one of my many consolidation efforts for this blog I took both of these tags and put them together. I mention the FLOW state quite a lot, but it is often in the context of philosophy. Even in the more practical applications, as it starts with understanding the wisdom of FLOW.

🌟 Ikigai and Focus

Two separate topics, that somehow continuously come together in my posts. I feel that Focus and FLOW are intertwined, but also the Ikigai is the reason why you will focus.

🍃 NOW Page

My monthly vlog and blog updates on what is happening in my life. Professionally and personally.

🎮 PolyInnovator Gaming

I've been a gamer since I was 4 years old, and I wanted to express that major part of my existence. These are related to my gaming video content, my written ideas for games, or even my own game development.

🎶 PolyInnovator Music

A future phase I want to work towards, and I hope that I can achieve a great musical career at some point.

🎤 Speaking

I would like to become an international speaker. Not just on podcasts which I have down, but as well on stages around the world.

Speaking on all sorts of topics, and teaching people what I have come to know.

🏙️ Innovation & Smart Cities

While two separate topics technically, in most cases that I discuss them they are intertwined.

💪 Polymathic Exercise

Taking a cross disciplinary approach to exercise, and applying polymathic method to fitness.

That is the premise behind this tag, and all of the posts are either my training advice, methodology, or various other related topics.

🧳 Travel EDC OneBag

One of my many endeavors on the Substack platform. I wanted to maybe make content that would help me travel more. Perhaps I should have kept it around I'm not sure.

Overall this would have been really cool for affiliate marketing, and getting to test out products for travel/EDC.

🎙️ PolyCasts (Also the "Videos" tag)

These are tags that are more housekeeping than anything. When I first started this site on Ghost I wanted to create custom post types for the other content formats. However the themes didn't really support it well, and even when they did it was hard to display the content like that. My last theme actually had routing support for a secondary podcast post type.

This current Aspect theme actually has support for video posts to show off the video, but it doesn't showcase the thumbnail before the video starts. Meaning it loses that context.

For now the PolyCasts tag is mainly for the list based posts I mentioned in the video above.

💼 Career and Business

Given that sometimes the polymathy and even just self-directed learning, they both end up talking about your career. This tag exists to be the anchor of that topic pool. That way people who want to advance or understand their career have something to learn from.

Business has always been a part of my heart from a young age too.

👐 Relationships

A newer category, that really was because I have thoughts on dating and/or relationships. Some of which I thought were common sense, but then I saw people's real life relationships. Then I realized some of this was not common knowledge.

Alternatively, this also includes networking and meeting professional relationships too! Really human relationships of all kinds.

👾 PolyPRO

Most of my rabbit holes end up in a mega-post for PolyPRO, and any of my compilation posts like How to Be a Modern Content Creator Mini Series end up becoming a paid post too.
