I maintain a pretty tight leash when it comes to the quality of my posts, but I often do let some grammatical mistakes slip through the cracks. My point in saying that, is that I often don't want to make posts like this which are not fully written, or that they are just me sharing stuff.

However I realized some people really love it when I share my rabbit holes I go down, such as Learning from the Best, or some posts I do in the 👾 PolyPRO which were made BECAUSE I went down a rabbit hole. I.e. MetaVerse + NFT's + Decentralization + Blockchain = Web 3.0 was one prime example.

Today I am doing another rabbit hole, and that is about AI. Once again. I spent some time trying to make Phasevos Dev Logs 1-8, which was a video game (or series) I was trying to make back in 2023 when ChatGPT first launched (started in Dec 2022 technically). Since then I've only really dabbled in AI, but with vibe coding the way that it is now, and Antigravity. Not to mention Claude in general as an open chat alternative to GPT or Gemini. I found myself using them more and more.

Some projects I have and probably will vibe code (disclaimer I haven't finished any of them yet!!):

  • Obsidian plugin to add additional side panels for more real estate for various other plugins
  • World Monitor (fulfilling my Illusive man, Shadowbroker, from Mass Effect fantasies)
    • Obsidian plugin version of the world monitor
  • A more creator focused version of my ghost cms theme to include youtube channels and podcasts
  • In the future maybe I can even FINALLY make my 🎓 Modular Degree platform I've been talking about for 8 years...
  • THEN Finally I can maybe finally make that game I always wanted to.

As you can see I have a lot of projects in mind, and they are some quite grand in a lot of ways. Meaning they will take a while, but I did not have the capacity to make them before.

The way this post will work

As I mentioned before this isn't a regular blog post, I'm going to try and format it well, but the intention is just fully sharing resources I came across. Not trying to make it perfect.

If I feel like I have something to say about a video I am / will be watching today, then I'll leave a short paragraph under it!

Enjoy!

I'm just trying to make sure I get ahead, and see if there's anything I don't already know (as I tend to see a lot of the news, even if I'm not personally using the stuff).

I've wanted something like this ever since Chrome OS ever was announced, and I think this is the turning point for people to finally get out of the closed off Apple ecosystem.

I've been spending an egregious amount of time learning about SBC's, PI's, and home servers. Maybe I should have made a post about those even, as I found some super computer cluster videos that were really cool.

LLM Council is also another thing I came across, that I should mention.

Or rather an "Omni-Brain" Polymath Integration Operating System!

Another video by this youtuber I found to be interesting, and in fact you should really check out his whole channel if I'm being honest.

Another prediction video, but take everything with a grain of salt.

I cannot tell you how many people are SLEEPING on Obsidian right now. It is a far better alternative to NotebookLM, and with 60+ AI plugins you have plenty of options on how you implement it. Plus with Claude Code it is getting even more powerful.

Shameless plug for one of my recent videos that is getting a ton of attention. Speaking of Obsidian, there are a lot of new beta plugins that are gaining traction, such as the calendar for bases plugin. Of which I talk about in this video.

Local-First Software | enough said.

Again with the Pi's, there are so many options for adding AI accelerators to them. Even if they're not fast by any means, they are still an option which is crazy. I actually have another video I'm going to share because if you are interested in the video about I created one about: Local AI LLM Technologies for Content Creators and Tinkerers

Another Pi cluster video, but man these are so interesting to me. I gotta make a post sharing all of them.

Obsidian user with an interesting vault. (wouldn't embed)

The video that actually started this rabbit hole, as I was looking into alternatives to Claude Opus for vibe coding.

Still with me? Good. Let's keep going!

I've been using Antigravity, and although I ran out of tokens in the first night. I think that if I could just keep going in FLOW, then I'd be able to build out a lot of really unique programs.

This is why I need to have a local AI / LLM, as I am burning through tokens.

All in all a good assortment

As I said I made this post as a resource, and most of these videos are pretty new. When it comes to how you watch them, some of them maybe you should save to your watch later playlist. Maybe focus on related ones for now.

If you like these sorts of posts, then please let me know!
