While there is certainly some innovation to be had in this category, and maybe I am missing a key tool. If so please let me know, as I am happy to update the post.

Finding the right tool in this case is going to be subjective. As it will either be because of cost, or how you want the transcription to occur. Do you hire real people such as the case with Rev, or do you go for AI based like a majority of the tools on the market?

## #5 - [Scribewave](https://scribewave.com/?ref=polyinnovator.space)

A tool that can transcribe in bulk, translate, and convert.

You can even convert your audio files into videos with an audiogram feature.

## #4 - [Sonix](https://sonix.ai/?ref=polyinnovator.space)

Not much to say on this one, as I haven't used it. However its price to feature ratio is why I put it in this slot. As compared to other tools on this list.

## #3 - [oTranscribe](https://otranscribe.com/?ref=polyinnovator.space)

Manual but this is one of the simplest methods of doing it yourself.

Sometimes you just need a notepad and player together, without having to pull up google docs and VLC. Having it all in one makes it easier.

## #2 - [SimonSays](https://www.simonsaysai.com/?ref=polyinnovator.space)

You can transcribe, translate, and even "Edit video by marking soundbites" which would be a great way to find clips too.

This tool has a lot more export options too into various video editing apps. So if you have a multi-stage workflow this might be a great choice!

## #1 - [Riverside Transcription](https://riverside.com/transcription?ref=polyinnovator.space)

Given that it is free, and relatively accurate ai transcription. I thought this tool would be the top of the list. It is after all the tool I default to when I need to run a video for transcription.
