U.L.C. Business Plan

Ages ago I started working on my first endeavor, the 🌐 United Living Construct, which was/is a hub of innovation. Particularly for innovative 🧮 The Polymaths, and to be somewhat of a capital of the world.

Now I should mention this business plan was made many years after my initial attempt, and it was around the time I actually started the PolyInnovator personal brand. As I pivoted from making an organization, to focusing on improving myself, and increasing my renown.

Please enjoy this blog post, as it is essentially a copy paste of my business plan, with additional context sprinkled throughout! I will add the context via these green callout bubbles, so you know which part is new or old.

I think the first think to point out is the title I used for myself. Some eagle eyed readers might have caught that "PolyULCian" moniker. That is something of a proto- "PolyInnovator", and was even my username for a time.

Granted it was too complex to explain, and therefore did a poor job at conveying what it was meant to be.

Executive Summary:

While I actually wrote a number of executive summaries in my schooling years, as I took many business/money management classes. The prospect of the U.L.C. being a "business" was sort of a stretch.

Probably more aligned with the organizational structure of a non-profit, or more accurately a startup incubator.

Introduction

Welcome to the creation of a new and dynamically innovative world. The United Living Construct is an organization driven to innovate technology and ideology. With a central focus on Philosophy, Self Development, and World Unity.

The U.L.C. was created with this purpose in mind, to innovate not only one’s own self-development, but to achieve an unprecedented level of innovation in Earth’s progression.

Mission Statement

The United Living Construct is an organization of unprecedented ambitions with outstanding insights on three main topics: Philosophy, Self-Development, and World Unity.

Creating a company of this magnitude will be a difficult challenge ahead. It started out described as “An international company driven to innovate technology and ideology”, and sprouted from there. Although as you will see in the following sections the sheer level of growth we will establish will be expansive.

Using the Four Pillars Philosophy we make use of unparalleled expertise and individual development. This allows the company to grow alongside the individuals encompassing and operating it. Philosophy pertains to separate, yet highly correlative corners of life itself. The Mind, Body, Spirit, and Emotions.

When properly maintained and repaired these Pillars allow stability in one’s entire life. Allowing for that individual, and in this case company, to be the best version they can be.

The concept was that if we could build up the individual, then the collective will also be improved. While yes sometimes working from the macro down is optimal, the logical of being able to change on the micro was more plateable. Ironically I personally like working big picture in, rather than vice versa.

Company Description

The name of the company is The United Living Construct, or U.L.C. for short. Each word was meticulously placed for a variety of reasonings, such as in line with our goals of Living together in peace across the world. Unified under a United front of philosophy and innovation.

Construct comes into play with a more complicated explanation, as it follows both dictionary definitions. As a noun “an idea or theory containing various conceptual elements”, as of right now the current state is solely digital and philosophical. Then as a verb “to build or erect”, meaning in the near future it will be a physical structure for people to work together towards innovation and creating new technologies.

The blog and business aspects are integrated together in order to facilitate the integral philosophical and technological divisions of the company.

A construct doesn't necessarily have to be a "physical" place, or building, as it can be a construct of ideas as well.

United global innovation work force, Living together in a polymathic society, and driven to Construct the foundations of a type-1 civilization.

Blog and Business Brand Goals Description:

Blog and Brand

In order to change the world one must adopt a new way of living and thinking. The U.L.C. Blog had emerged as the form of ideology to establish the United Living Construct Brand.

The culture of philosophy blogs is one of the more cooperative categories because philosophy is created to be shared. This mentality puts bloggers of this culture to affiliate themselves with one another allowing for the goals of one blog to coincide with another.

Our brand is a combination of the Four Pillars Philosophy and the 3 ULCian Tiers. In a short description the Four Pillars

Two Definitions needed here:

1. The Four Pillars Philosophy
The four major aspects of life: the mind, the body, the spirit, and the emotions. Each being an anchor to our very living existence. Again by building up the individual, then we can improve the whole.

2. ULCians - The People within the U.L.C.
There being no priority on each of these three groups, even though I say "tiers" it wasn't a ranking system. More of a trifecta:
- Uniters: The people who could use their charisma to bring others together, define the macro objective.
- Leaders: Alternatively, the people who were systems thinkers, and would be able to define the micro objective.
- Creators: Hence the idea of creating a blog, or content in general, to syndicate the information out to the world.

Ideal Reader

The U.L.C. is written for the “Autodidactic”, or self-learners of the world. This may seem obscure as many people would presume one would have to be Polymaths like Leonardo Da Vinci to be along those lines.

This couldn’t be further from the truth, as what we would like to share with our readers is that anyone and everyone can become their own teacher. Pushing themselves to new levels of life progress.

Being able to teach yourself anything is an invaluable skill, we simply want to be able to teach them how to do it.

While my hope was that through content I could show people the bigger picture, and attract more Leaders and Uniters to the cause. I ended up running on a hamster wheel.

I considered the people who were ALL THREE tiers to be PolyULCians, the polymathic people of the U.L.C. As who said you couldn't be all three, and in fact the society would push you to do just that. You may prefer one over the others, that is okay, but it is good to know how the others operate.

Products and Services:

Interactive App

A multi-platform Application to manage and guide development of each of the Four Pillars. As well as provide communications between each of the ULCian tiers.

Creating a medium for philosophical and emotional growth. Bringing people together to improve our way of life.

The App works by creating outlines for each individual person, and allowing them to track each Pillar of Life they are working on at that time. The outlines created will be pseudo-step processes to achieve their goal, and due to the complex nature of personal development there will be a simplistic nature to the overarching theme.

Even back a better half of a decade ago I was trying to develop this app, and eventually just settled on a social network. Then just on a discord server. Although I still think it is time to bring it to the forefront again. Especially now that I can vibe code it.

Market and Competition Strategies:

Target Audience

The audience we will strive to reach is anybody from Autodidactic learners to the modern professionals. Who either want to further their own self-education, or get a strong new edge for their profession respectively. The benefits that the reader/potential market would receive will be a level of interconnectivity unseen in the philosophical or self-development markets. Both of which are strongly connected on their own.

While the organization would attract a certain type of individual, and presumably it would be the polymathic people of the world.

There would be a wider demographic, that could be lead into being polymaths. Those would be the multi-passionate, or the multi-potentailites of the world.

Reader Analysis

Many readers want something that will inspire, fascinate, or even change their way of thinking at times. This rarity among content of such types of work leaves the readers wanting more than some click-bait article. The attention span of someone disciplined is one that will control the necessary distractions, allowing that person to spend more time on the provided content. This is why we aim to target these types of people. They may be less of such consumers out there, but the type of responses we will get from them will be light years beyond the average.

I'm writing this in 2026, and now more than ever perhaps we need something so positive to be a beacon of light and hope.

Methodology

Our method to ignite our brand would be to attack on multiple fronts such as the interactive application, the magazine workbook hybrid, and on the web.

With a multi-tiered approach to not only the content creation, but to the product/service creation as well there will be a major boost in interconnectivity between platforms.

I actually still like this idea, even a decade later. The application could be something like Uscreen, and having a TV-like service. Educational akin to Pluralsight, Masterclass, or GreatCoursesPlus.

The magazine is something I've been toying with as an idea since I was a teenager using Microsoft Publisher. I had made about 4-6 magazines already, for the U.L.C., that I never released. Maybe I will for PolyPRO.

Finally, the idea of synergy between the video and written pieces too.

Competitive Analysis

With so many bloggers, life coaches, and success brands it could be hard to approach. Though all of the competition has shown to choose one source of action, and falters when trying to make use of another market strike. There is no unity between the sources, content, or writers. 

Keeping this in mind developing the multi-tiered approach will be a difficult task, yet the prospect of such a vast spread of influence will allow the United Living Construct to be the focused source of such content.

Now to be realistic, it is hard to pinpoint where exactly this business would fit in the market. Especially considering it is non-traditional, and therefore "competitors" will be subjective.

SWOT Analysis

Strengths:

The U.L.C.’s current strength is the ability to create quality content for the followers on multiple levels. Being able to create a bridge between people’s own lives with the ones around them.

Weaknesses:

The consistency of blog posts and formulation of interconnection between posts needs to be improved before being able to provide stronger content. Production scale needs to be improved in order to expand market dominance.

Opportunities:

The outlook of the industry is on the up and up for the blogging market. It is on the rise with modern technology allowing us to make use of every new device. Not to mention we will be exploiting a new niche to explore and grow into.

Threats:

We are quickly approaching an untapped market of sorts, as the specific niche we desire to fill, is one of hidden gems of the world. Meaning that although it will provide an amazing opportunity to provide people with such unique services, it will also be a hard task ahead. The monumental task of filling a gap in the market with such an interconnected world is both positive and negative.

SWOT is not really my strong suit. However my confidence in my marketing and content abilities, even back then I think was a strong strength. The mindset was correct, but the execution wasn't there.

Weaknesses would contend with the strength well, as the lack of definition of what the organization is would lead to a loss of direction.

Opportunities are boundless, back then, and now.

Threats are hard to judge, with the geopolitical climate too, that would make a huge difference in how things play out.

Social Promotion Strategy:

The Cloud

With the rise of cloud based web applications, and new technology hardware (such as VR or AR headsets). With these new platforms many companies are struggling to tap into that new market, as the technology is still in its infancy, with the technological approach the U.L.C. desires to achieve, we will be able to tap into its early stages. Planting a seed of our content to grow into the emerging markets.

It still is crazy to me that I was noticing these changes even back then. While VR never really hit it off where people thought it was going to. There are still a lot of potential of hitting those markets.
I think that people forget there are plenty of people who are still dedicated to VR, XR/AR, 360 immersion, and more.

With not enough content to interact with. Think of an interactive smart city experience.

Social Media Platforms

There is a vast range of social media platforms to make sure we as a company are part of and will be. Websites from Facebook to Tumblr have the capacity to spread our user base. We plan on tackling each site creating a stream of new subscribers and readers.

Tumblr isn't a thing anymore, and Facebook truly doesn't matter for 95% of creators. However the rise and fall of tiktok should be studied, but the platforms that came out of it: shorts, reels, and pinterest videos I think are still worth the time.

Interconnected U.L.C. Media

One of the biggest philosophies of the U.L.C. is balance, for when two opposing sides are put into balance it creates a new stronger path. We believe that in order for us to move forward we must approach the markets at a balanced yet tactical process. This balance will come in the form of interconnectivity between different platforms. 

The world's technology is gearing towards universal operating systems so the simplicity of app development for multiple platforms of the same user base has never been easier.

Personally I think this directly relates to the PIOS framework I developed for polymathic individuals. Coming together in a collective would be a powerful unification.

Think about what sort of software that we could come up with, that would bring even more innovations.

Design and Development Plan:

Design Choices

Consistency is the strongest asset we can attain, for the monumental plans we have ahead it will help to have a congruent design approach to our apps, documents, and website. Creating the overall experience we wish to convey.

Development

Creating content for an abundance of platforms is one daunting task, which is why other companies refrained from even attempting this sort. This lack of developmental confidence leads to poor quality products/services, and in the worst case scenarios maybe nothing at all.

Our development manifesto defines the complex nature of the company itself. We can tackle the onslaught of adversity due to the sheer organizational strength we have. The level of unification the company maintains allows for more complex plans to come to fruition.

The development process will succeed due to the outstanding performance of our employees. Creating each piece of the overarching puzzle of platforms, applications, and interconnectivity aspects.

The trickle down approach to omnichannel content creation and repurposing syndication; Is something that I have gained a ton of skill on. I do not worry about marketing anymore, which will help development a ton in the future.

Operations and Management Projections:

Given the PolyULCian or Polymathic ideal to attain, I think that is key to the operations, as you will have both front end and back end polymaths.

Operational Plan

Taking a Autodidactic Polymath approach is the suitable choice for a company of this wide range of stature. The caliber of each employee’s mindset will be accounted for and trained to be improved upon at any level. There is always another level for improvement.

With the Three ULCian Tier we created not only a source for consumers to tap into, but our company itself. The modus operandi we exude creates a fluid proficiency for each employee to undertake. Each employee has the capacity to change the operation they may, at that moment, control for one that is needed or can be done by said individual.

The Jack of All Trades kind of person will be the type of people operating the company. Allow us as an organization to improve key aspects of the company more rapidly and acutely.

To be any of the people, uniter/leader/creator you need time to gain those skills, and then if you attain the others it will help you do your job even better.

Management Position

Creating a new way of thinking also demands that we run our company in a different mindset than previous conventions. To conclude any measurable act we must treat it as if each instance is the greatest event that has happened to us.

This exuberant mentality will allow us to keep a level head when under pressure, and to allow connections with different groups in new ways.

We believe the world can achieve peace, in order to accomplish this we must act the part, for if we do not show an example of what we can do then no one will follow suit.

Just because I may be good or okay at doing operations, there are probably plenty of other people who will do it better. Being able to share the workload, delegate, and lead is a crucial factor.
I prefer the front end side of things, even if I can do the back end.

Financial Factors:

Given the mindset around it being a non-profit or incubator. There is a lot to be determined when it comes to monetization. I still love the membership, magazine, and content strategy. However it would more than likely be more Effective through my PolyInnovator personal brand.

Expenses

In order to compensate the necessary expenses, Dustin M. the proprietor will secure the funds needed to maintain financial endeavors. Current projected expenses are the monthly cost of the website operation, compensation payments to various employees/members, and day to day company-wide expenditures.

All of this has come out of pocket all this time. It has strained my income, but I think eventually it will all be worth it.

Vision and Growth Statement:

Vision

We see our future on the forefront of a new, innovative, and peaceful world. One that in the process of our own company growth, was responsible for the world’s progression towards a Type 1 civilization.

The expansion of humanity’s ingenuity and innovation is our vision of the future. To be a part of that impact will be a tremendous feat. One that will undoubtedly keep us going for ages to come.

I still deep down have that goal to achieve that progression.
While I may not be able to do a whole lot myself.

I think that creating content is the best method to spend my time, as I would be able to reach the most amount of people that way. Sure if I became a politician or actor, and somehow got my face out that way. I would be able to reach a bigger crowd sooner, but would it be the ideal crowd is the question.

The nature of our growth is unlimited with the explosive growth of the blogging world over the past decade. We have access to a plethora of resources at our disposal, along with an expansive market with different approaches to choose from. With the ideology we convey we can create a level of quality and philosophy that hasn’t been done before at this level.

We wish to tap into every market available to reach as many innovative individuals as possible.

Through innovation comes prosperity and planet wide development.

In the end this endeavor wasn't really successful. However it got me started on my content journey, and perhaps it is never truly too late.
