Listen I don't do "going out and partying" even if I sometimes want to, maybe its my environment. Maybe it is my temperament, or maybe it is something I don't understand about myself even. The point is that I am "lame" in a sense because all I care about is getting my stuff done.
I originally wrote this post to explain the mindset of creating a bunch of content, either to catch up, or to batch create for myself ahead of time.
Ironically this "remake" of this post got procrastinated over and over, and now I am doing a burst of posts all in one day because I finally got the motivation. While I normally would just schedule these out; I actually want to just get them done more than anything. Thus I'm writing, finishing, and remaking all in one go for a half a dozen or more posts.
This post will be in two parts, the original Substack half, and then the added portion after!
How am I spending my Weekend?
Overall I partially blame Gary Vee for my “Content Content Content” mentality. Although to be honest I can’t fully put it all on him, as I would have come to the same conclusion regardless/eventually.
I’m making this post, a piece a content in of itself, as I found myself focusing completely on content all day today. That is my plan, that is my work, and that is my relaxation as it turns out too today.
When I get bored of working on this creator brand you’re reading, then I usually go play video games and make a stream for my gaming brand.
This past week I hosted a panel for the Polymath Festival, which is directly inline with the niche for my main personal brand channel content/niche. Sorry for all the links, but I wanted you to have context in case you were curious.
I thought why not take the video recording and throw it into OpusClip, which would in turn create more posts to go out on my main channel. Plus the panel itself I’m going to post, as it relates to my niche perfectly.
As for the creator channel I’m not particularly focused on it this weekend, but I did make two new youtubes and instagrams to post clips from both of my interview shows.
I’m going to rerun all of my 200 or so interviews between the two channels, and focus on mid-form/medium length clips. Get 3-5 of them per interview, and post them to the new channel. While also reposting all of the thousands of clips I have already made.
The gaming channel has a few hundred clips from over the years, and since I haven’t been posting on it until recently (with my recent twitch streams). I figured I could repost the clips from before, I’m running 17ish streams in Opus for more clips, and I have a bunch of Xbox clips on onedrive I haven’t touched.
There is a new game I had backed on kickstarter that I can livestream soon, which would be unique as not many have access to it. Let alone are streamers.
Meaning I am juggling a lot of things this weekend, but it is all content. For all of my channels really.
Will I have a break? Probably not, and is that okay? Probably not. Oh well.
I simply wanted to make this post to share with you that even when I am not posting on here directly. That my content ecosystem is always moving, always posting, and there is always something going out from my content production pipeline.
I should also note that I have posts going out on my main website, and I will be working on more of those as well. Include the PolyTools Digest, which many of you would be interested in as well.
Please reach out if you have any questions! Tools or strategies, etc.
How will I spend my weekends?
I'm not trying to promise anything out of 2026 ahead of time. However I wanted to touch on this obsession of content, and the potentially really successful endeavor I am trying to do right now with this "Content Blitz".
Beyond just the Blitz I actually planned out the ENTIRE YEAR for daily content. Now there are many planned sprints, which make up the majority of the blitz, and there are plenty of days where I am doing 3-4 posts in one day. Video or written, it does not matter.
What matters is that I have weekly videos for my channels, and consistent weekly newsletters. Where I have been struggling in some weeks to do that, there are some days (such as today) where I make up for it.
The idea behind spending my weekends creating content is meant to be a helpful pre-emptive action to get myself to batch ahead. However if I had failed the week before, then at least it will be make up day(s).
I won't stop until my dreams are complete, my books are written, my business grown, and the content ideas I wrote all down are all completed.
